So, being the procrastinator I am, this post is slightly belated. A new internship, finals season, and general laziness got in the way of sharing my Vegas adventures. But enough with the excuses, here I am to share photos and briefly describe the events of the trip! Warning, apologies for the overload of photos to come; I didn’t know how else to sum up the weekend & didn’t want to continue to overwhelm my instagram!
PS: If the time comes when you’re debating over a weekend in the city of sin and if it’s worth it, I can vouch that it very much so is.
Night one: Three out of the seven girls landed, checked into The Venetian circa 10:00pm, got dressed, and went to Encore’s nightclub to see Duke Dumont. Quick turnaround for a Wednesday, but ya know…when in Vegas? Something like that.
Day two: Woke up in anticipation for the other half of our group to arrive. Went to Fashionshow mall, did minor damage, & spent the afternoon by the pool.
Night two: Walked the strip, ate at Mon Ami Gabi, watched the Bellagio fountains, walked the strip back to our hotel. We got ready for the first big night, stopped at TAO, and rung in my birthday dancing to Tiesto at Hakkasan.
Day three: Woke up, popped champagne (true birthday girl style), bounced around, went to the Wicked Spoon for brunch, and ended the day in the pool. PS: Mid november was 75 and sunny in Vegas. They also like to call it “Winter season”. Cue the Midwestern eye roll.
Night three: This night was the reason I wanted to book the trip in the first place, Calvin Harris at Omnia, on my birthday. We ate a casual dinner, got fancy drinks at my favorite spot in Vegas (the Chandelier bar), made our way to Omnia, and somehow ended up directly behind the DJ booth.
Day four: Surprised we all made it this far, day four was the Marquee day club pool party, and debatably the best time of the whole trip. Checking out of our room and catching our flight that night didn’t go completely smooth, but hey, what’s a small loss for a big weekend?
Being 21 was such an tremendous time & I’m afraid hard to beat. Buttttttt I think I kicked 22 off the right way, and I’m looking forward to see what it’ll bring 🙂
